We have finished our fall walks for 2010
what wonderful blessings we experienced.
On the weekend of October 14 through 17, Walk # 33, 21 women were new disciples.
For the men's weekend, October 21 through 24,Walk #34, 18 men were disciples.
We were blessed with wonderful weather for both the men and women's walks.
Our spring walks are in the planning stages. Their meetings will actually start in January so please pray as these teams are put together.
Also start praying WHO you should ask to attend and if you should sponsor them.
The dates are:
Women's walk April 14-17, 2011
Men's Walk April 28-May 1, 2011
The lay director for the women's walk will be Kelly Atkinson
The men's lay director will be
Kent Spillman.
There are so many areas for YOU the community
to become involved.
We feel this will be a great place to collect those interested in working ! Hope you agree.
IF you want to be considered to work on the team for either walk please let us know. Leave the information in a comment on this blog. We would like to know when you went on your walk and ALL of the positions you have worked on the team, to include which talks or go-for positions . This will be such a help for the lay directors and leadership team as they put together a balanced team of those who have worked many walks to those who have never worked.
As we get closer to the walks we will be posting needs for the walks.
